What stays in your browser
Your bag, saved items and virtual order history are stored in localStorage under the key fabwink-store-v2. Your language and currency choices are stored in the NEXT_LOCALE and FABWINK_CURRENCY cookies. No account is required.
What we do not ask for
Shopping on Fabwink does not require your name, email, delivery address, card number or bank details, and the site does not include advertising trackers.
When you contact us
If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, topic, message, preferred language, the page you sent it from and your browser type so we can reply. Your IP address is stored only as a salted one-way hash to prevent spam. A copy of the message is sent to our internal notification system. We keep these messages only as long as needed to handle your request, and you can ask us to delete them.
Privacy-friendly analytics
We use a self-hosted Umami instance to count page views and understand which pages are popular. It does not use cookies, does not build cross-site profiles, and reports only aggregated statistics such as page, referrer, country and device type.
Retailer images and affiliate links
Product photographs may load directly from retailers' image servers, which can receive your IP address and browser details as part of that request. When you follow a “Buy it for real” link, the affiliate network and retailer may set their own cookies to attribute a purchase. Their privacy policies apply once you leave Fabwink.
Server requests
Our servers receive standard request information, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site. Product search queries are processed to return results and are not linked to a profile.
Removing your data
Clear your order history from the orders page, or remove everything, including your bag, saved items and preferences, by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Future accounts and payments
Accounts and live payments are not enabled in this preview. This notice will be updated with the payment provider, retention periods and your regional privacy rights before those services launch.
